Genealogy records of my Cavo and Risotto family ancestry begin in the late 1700s. My great grandfather, Agostino Giacomo Cavo (1845-1928) was born in Genoa, Italy. My great grandmother Philomena Risotto (1847-1925) was born in San Fruttuoso, on the Ligurian coast. In the early 1870s they immigrated to Alameda, California. In the early 1890s they relocated to Colma, California. My ancestral line is in bold type.
